Technical Narrative Designer

A not-so-serious retro rogue-lite RPG.

  • Wrote the game's plot, developed its world, fleshed out the characters, and created a branching narrative with 9 distinct endings.

  • Created 50 unique creature names.

  • Wrote dialogue, created a narrative wiki, and implemented over 100 unique cutscenes in under two months.

9/2020 – 5/2021

Team Size: 19

Creative Director & Narrative Designer

A turn-based tactics RPG with a heavy focus on entwining narrative and progression.

  • Developed the "Memory Map" progression system along with 41 unique memories.

  • Wrote the characters, plot, dialogue and implemented 19 cutscenes with 2 distinct endings.

  •  Oversaw the artistic vision by closely working with the audio and art teams.

1/2020 – 8/2020

Team Size: 7

Lead Designer and Product Owner 

An online arena-battle game where players compete to become the most popular kid in the west.

  • Designed most of the game's systems as well as implemented all the animations.

  • Created three characters each with a unique power-set and playstyle.

  • Did sound design, bug testing, and generally worked to oversee the design of the project throughout the development.
