Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred
Quest Designer - Blizzard Entertainment
Lord of Hatred is the second expansion for Diablo IV, the latest installment in the genre-defining Action RPG franchise. As a Quest Designer, I owned and developed large portions of both the campaign and side quest content for this expansion.

The First Horadric Vault
(Campaign - 6 Quests)
A megadungeon exploring the lore and legacy of the four legendary Horadrim mages.

Disciple of the Forbidden
(Class - 5 Quests)
Learn to bind demons under the tutelage of a harrowed warlock (and his pet goat).

Arrival in Celestia
(Campaign - 5 Quests)
Political intrigue, a basilisk-riding madman, and an expedition into forgotten ruins.

Neophyte's Odyssey
(Side - 3 Quests)
A pair of pilgrims begin uncovering a darker truth behind the prophet they seek.

The Siege of Celestia
(Campaign Quest)
An epic battle against an army of corrupted amazons and their hellish siege engines.

Diluvian Blade
(Side Quest)
A merfolk monster regains her speech after she is visited by a ghost from her past.
The First Horadric Vault
The First Horadric Vault is a love letter to longtime fans of the series, filled with new and expanded lore on the Horadric Order.
This massive quest dungeon contains four wings filled with gameplay themed around the four legendary Horadrim mages, culminating in a boss fight with a unique "sigil" mechanic of my own design.
The player's first arrival in Celestia begins with a theatrical debate sequence allowing for player choice and roleplay.
Later, I introduce the expansion's new basilisk mount with a charming "chase-and-tame" sequence followed by a dungeon crawl exploring the ancient confrontation between Lilith and Inarius.
Arrival in
Celestia
The Siege of Celestia
The Siege of Celestia is one of the only mass battles in the Diablo franchise's history. To pull off this fantasy, I ensured a continual swirl of fresh combatants would spawn and fight around the player as they completed important battlefield objectives.
Additionally, large set-piece moments give the battle a sense of progression as the player and their allies gradually claim victory.
I collaborated with two other quest designers to build this expansion's Warlock class quest chain. My primary contributions included the subquest "Belly of the Beast" (where you climb inside a massive hellwurm's intestines), the demon-binding ritual mechanic, and the subplot about warlock Hattar's totally not suspicious pet goat (if you know, you know).
Disciple of the Forbidden
Neophyte's Odyssey
A three-quest chain fully concepted and designed by me. The story concerns two pilgrims as they follow the prophet Akarat, seeking hope in a hopeless world.
With this quest, I wanted to explore how kind and innocent people would be shaped by the horrors of Diablo's grim setting.
